waffles

This is the recipe we had every Saturday morning. It's so much better than any waffle mix. My dad use to put cooked bacon on the waffle iron and then pour the batter over the bacon. Now when I make them, I use Olive Oil as the fat and sprinkle precooked pancetta in the batter before I close the iron. Topped with all natural organic maple syrup, these waffles can't be beat.
